Integrating CF-CBT into CF Team-Based Mental Health Care: A Randomized Implementation Trial
Sponsored by the CF Foundation
The goal of the study is to identify best practices for implementing CF-CBT across CF centers with an emphasis on factors supporting equitable access.
- CF care team members completing CF-CBT training are eligible to participate.
- Participating clinicians will have the opportunity to receive ongoing expert consultation to support them in delivering CF-CBT.
- Participants will complete a total of 6 surveys over the course of 20 months about their experience delivering CF-CBT.
- No individual patient information will be collected.
- The study has been approved by the MGH IRB. No contracting is required on the part of the CF center or institution for an individual clinician to participate.
- Participation in the CF-CBT Implementation Study will help to provide a greater understanding of how to best provide evidence-based mental health support and treatment to adults with CF.
- Participation may also benefit individual CF centers by improving quality of delivery of care through increasing patient access to an evidence-based mental health intervention, availability of ongoing consultation support for clinicians, and a structure for internal tracking of quality improvement.
