What is CF-CBT?
CF-CBT was created in conjunction with the CF community to promote emotional wellness. CF-CBT is delivered by members of the CF healthcare team trained in the intervention to improve access to evidence-based care for people with CF.
An innovative 8-session mental health program for adults (ages 18 and above)
Developed in partnership with the CF community
Features evidence-based skills and strategies proven to help with stress management and preventing and treating depression and anxiety
Adapts a cognitive-behavioral approach integrated with mindfulness and acceptance-based practices to address the emotional challenges of living with CF
It’s free, no hidden costs
Sessions take about 45-60 minutes
Available via telehealth (phone or video)
Promotes emotional wellness
